Lovely home, with beautiful views of the bay. Beach houses are often exposed and close to road traffic, but not this one. The setting is surprisingly green, quiet, and sheltered, with no busy roads nearby. Of course you can step off the deck into the low dunes and right onto the beach, but you may want to stroll through the quiet streets of the surrounding neighborhood with its charming cottages and gardens. We've stayed at Bella Beach four the past four years and have loved it each time. We've stayed at Beach Bungalow at the Sea and have found it clean, comfortable and very relaxing. The whole rental process was very easy and we would highly recommend this place. 🙂

We had a wonderful week at the ebb and flow house. Great location for walks along the water, quiet afternoons on the deck and close to town and local beaches.
Very clean home. Really enjoyed our stay! Beach is only a few minutes walk away. The neighborhood was very quiet (except for a bit of construction on a couple of the adjacent properties but that was only during the day and didn’t start until 9:00 am or so). This is a beautiful cottage, just as described!! Don’t worry about there not being enough TP, etc. the “initial supply” is likely enough to last a week or more for one couple. Be sure to check the main bedroom closet - there is a foldable step stool that will prove very convenient to get in and out of the high beds! Speaking of beds…super comfortable with quality linens! Highly recommend and we would return!

- Our homes are on Oregon's central coast, primarily in Lincoln City — including the Olivia Beach and Roads End neighborhoods — with nearby homes toward Lincoln Beach and Depoe Bay. We're also expanding into Central Oregon.
- Do all of the homes have a hot tub?
- Yes. Every home in the Step Away Lodging collection includes a private hot tub.
- Can I book directly instead of through Airbnb or Vrbo?
- Yes. You can book any of our homes directly at stepawaylodging.com — usually at better rates, with no extra platform service fees, and a local family to help you.
- How many homes do you have, and how many people do they sleep?
- We currently offer seven hand-picked homes and suites, sleeping from two guests in our romantic suites up to ten in our larger family homes.
- Are the homes pet-friendly?
- Several of our homes are pet-friendly. Look for the pet-friendly note on each home's page. A simple pet policy applies: one dog, 50 lb limit, leashed and not left unattended.
- Is Step Away Lodging family-owned?
